The Capitol Building Was Left Un-Defended On Purpose - Who Will Be The First To Say It?

I am tired of the 9-11 intelligence failure run around.

This is bs.

Someone "in authority" should be able to say the obvious.

Sure we will have more hearings, and more theatre, but the narrative is being lost.

The attack was planned, and the undefended capitol was also planned.

Period.

Now someone just say it.

Let the cowards in the media chew on that.

but googling would probably turn up the first time it appeared in print.

It is an accusation, of course, until proven by investigation and confirmed in a court of law. The media know what they can responsibly and ethically say and what they cannot. And authorities choose their words carefully for very good reasons, not just ethical ones, but to avoid hurting their own case and giving ammunition to the enemy.

Some people in my area, and my trumphumper relatives have made these comments since late 2017. The day the Capitol was stormed, my sister commented that the "patriots" have finally had enough. I was quick to point out that the people who stormed the capitol declared war on the United States. Things get very quiet very quickly, and my family members have unfriended me, like that will hurt my feelings. It was pre-planned!

It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure that out. All those jokers that were replaced after the election in the pentagon, the ones that had no clue what they were doing. You don't replace experienced people when there is only a month or so left in the administration do you?

Of course you don't, unless there was a goal in mind and trump certainly had one.

The request for the national guard came at 1:09 but the dispatch didn't occur until 2:01.
What were they doing after the emergency call came in? Watching TV. It was covered live by all the major networks. At 2pm they decided the insurrection was going to fail because Pence and the rest of congress were safe. Only then did the national guard get dispatched to the capital.
The appointed trumpanzees needed to make sure tRump's mob wasn't going to kill off most members of congress.
The pentagon appointees were accessories to insurrection.

a thin blue line, or at least those of them who weren't complicit, had to face murderous thousands. Some died. If the capitol had been utterly undefended, elected official would have died. But officer Sicknick had to die. Others had to die or be maimed. Officer Goodman had to be a hero. If the place had been undefended, it would all have been too obvious. Instead, people were sacrificed. This is gross treachery, and we'll probably never get to the bottom of it.

He may not have known exactly what would happen, but I'm sure he expected chaos and violence, as he thrives on that. Also he made too many changes at the Pentagon after the election to be random. It was planned and I think Trump was thrilled to see that it actually surpassed his wildest expectations. He is an absolute monster.

We all saw it. Trump's people in the pentagon and law enforcement chose not to send backup and didn't allow DC, VA, or MD national guard units or DC's MPD units into the Capitol area until the very end. They were refused authorization on purpose by the Trump administration.

A capitol police officer was murdered by insurrectionists because the officers were hung out to dry. They deserve and explanation as to why. So does the rest of America.

Trump's Acting Defense Secretary, who was installed after Trump lost the election, blocked the National Guard from being able to support the DC police

Smoking gun: The orders from Miller to the DC National Guard for January 6 included in linked article— is a must read. The DC guard were allowed no helmets, no body armor, no weapons. They were not allowed to stop or arrest protesters. Letter orders no interference with rioters

https://www.democraticunderground.com/10142681657
House Appropriations Committee Chair Rosa DeLauro, a Connecticut Democrat, said in a phone call with CNN that members were "shaking their heads in disbelief" throughout the briefing about the security breakdown in the lead up to January 6. During that briefing, acting US Capitol Police Chief Yogananda Pittman admitted her department knew there was a "strong potential for violence" targeting Congress, but did not take appropriate steps to prevent it.

Julia Davis @JuliaDavisNews
The commander of the D.C. National Guard said the Pentagon restricted his authority ahead of the riot at the U.S. Capitol, requiring higher level sign-off to respond that cost time as the events that day spiraled out of control.

Don't forget tRump fired Esper Nov 9 when it was clear that he wasn't going to win the vote counts. He installed his toady Chris Miller and appointed civilians like Cory Lewandowski and Broady to the civilian oversight board that gummed things up.

But, every relevant Congressional Committee should investigate.

I must admit to being rather naive in never considering a coup attempt. However, watching these thugs storm the Capitol on January 6th, and then simply walk away while remembering the over the top reaction to BLM protests, I was in a state of disbelief.

We have a long way to go before we can have any semblance of order.

Now, even this 83 year old great grandmother has come to the obvious conclusion that January 6th was well planned with many in power complicit. The only reason it didn't succeed is that the Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, QAnon etc. were not up to the task.
