1. I think it would be appropriate to ask for a review of his firing...

And presuming it was d/t political pressure from Trump or his appointees, he should be reinstated. (The next Ford-class carrier isn't due to be launched until 2025, so that's a little too long to wait if we wanted to give him the next new boat).

6. I think so too....there are probably a bunch more capable officers that got

booted because they were not politically correct. Whether they want reinstatement is another issue. But I do think Austin will be addressing these firings with offers to reinstate.
