Hell also serve as the musical guest. I have no idea what his music is like. Anyone feeling increasingly old as they watch SNL?

I think it was funnier back then. Sometimes lately the writing has been ... meh.
Although Aidy Bryant, Kate McKinnon, and Keenan Thompson are frequently LOL funny.
And to answer your question, yes I feel old. Especially with the strange musical guests they have. Lizzo was AWESOME though a while back.

(89,274 posts)There were a few skits that were funny but most of the show wasn't.
I think SNL has always been like that.
It's rare where almost the entire show will be funny.
is clearly doing this as a cross-promotion for 'The Voice', but I doubt most of his pre-teenybopper or tweenybopper fans are allowed to stay up to watch SNL.
Expecting mediocrity from any skit or performance he's in.

(11,949 posts)Yeah, I grew with SNL and still love the old skits. The General Franco one was classic.
But hell, we had 3 channels to watch and we remember the classic skits and forget the duds.
They still have some good stuff. And if they appeal to younger folks, well thats the future.
I thought the Biden/Harris bit on the night the election was called held up with any of the old classics.

it. I like SNL. Their political sketches and Weekend update are my favourites but i find most of it quite pleasant. I always watch. I may zone out and back to my phone but i've always liked it.
