that said: "We are guarding the wrong river"

I believe it was in conjunction with the annual brawl called the Texas-OU game when one is required to wear red or orange to declare allegiance.

‘It’s not time to take off our masks,’ Austin Public Health says as COVID-19 vaccination at just 6 percent

AUSTIN (KXAN) — With only about 6% of the county’s population aged 18 and over being vaccinated, health officials say the idea of the mask mandate being lifted doesn’t sit well with them and it shouldn’t end anytime soon.

Not that covering one disaster by starting a new one is real good logic but then he is Repub so why expect any logic at all...or good intentions...caring about others...or any of that basic human decency stuff? I keep thinking we cannot mine any deeper for bad ideas and crazy moves but I guess there is an endless, bottomless vein of STUPID I didn't know existed.

Is killing people with his cruel stupidity. The vaccination lottery that happening here isn’t just threatening liberals. The man is on a power trip, and needs to stop.

I’ve just about quashed his windmills-caused-the-blackouts lie amongst my family members on the rwinger spectrum, and one of my aunts who voted for him thinks he needs to go ASAP.

14. Abbott's iresponsibility has now effed with my family business.

Due to the TX energy cluster fuck, I am having extreme difficulty ordering the raw product that we use to manufacture our product up here in Montana. I order a two part polyurethane that is the basis for our small business. Without it, I'm out of business. Texas' industrial sector is not yet fully up and running and so I'm two weeks away from shutting down if I can't get product. My only hope is that our business is relatively small compared to the large corporations who also use the same raw product...I might have a chance of our supplier filling my order because they can actually get it done and off their list compared to the orders of a much larger entity. Fingers crossed. However, now that Abbott has opened up his state, I expect to see another wave of Covid that will further the problems down there. If anyone thinks we aren't all connected and that problems in states like TX don't effect you...you've got another thing coming.
