If the allegations of harassment should end up be to true? Then Gov. Cuomo needs to face the music. I believe he knows better, but there are those who will go to far. I conduct myself around all women, because I want to and because it is the only way to act. I was raised to respect any lady who I come in contact with. My father taught me well! He would tell me "It is being a man to respects others and a inferior man to say nasty things to any lady". Now, I will wait to see the outcome before I form my opinion about this whole issues. I can't stress that we all need to wait. I hope it's not true, but the truth will come out and then Cuomo must be held accountable for his actions, if this found to be true.

(4,483 posts)I wish every woman who'd been subjected to a similar conversation or gesture by Republican politicians would step up and file complaints, too. I would hate to think that women who work for and with Republicans would be okay with this kind of disrespect and harassment. We all know they're out there--why won't they speak up? Or are all Republican politicians faithful to their wives and professional in their dealings with females in the office? Yeah, right.
Failing that, and it just kills me because I am a survivor of sexual abuse by a superior back in the days when there really was nothing I could do but quit my job, but here we go again. An outspoken, well-known Democrat is being brought down--by his own behavior, seemingly. We lost Al Franken on similar charges, and now we're losing Cuomo.
Is this part of Republican dirty tricks? I believe these women, and Cuomo must accept the consequences of his actions, but...
His news conferences were imo a shining example to Tr*mp of what leadership during the pandemic looks like. He is not perfect by any means, even forgetting about the sexual misbehavior, but he could have been an important player in our party's future.
