This seems like really good news. Because of reconciliation, we're only getting one shot at this, so its fantastic to see that we're making the most of it.

(5,419 posts)The Affordable Care Act that the Republicans were against? That they blocked at every opportunity? That Trump promised would be replaced with something much better any day now, you just wait! (And wait. And wait. etc.)
It was never about the actual 'Affordable Care' part, more about labelling it with Obama's name, and fighting against it just because it had Obama's name on it, and because it was a Democrat concept, so it had to be demonized into oblivion.
With more control to the Democratic Party this time around, it's full steam ahead!

A public option will be the next big battle, and one worth fighting.
