Anyone know if Merrick Garland has been Confirmed by the full Senate yet?

I keep searching for those headlines and the last report I saw he managed to get through the committee hearings.

I see that other cabinet nominations made it through confirmations, but still haven't seen Garland's confirmation yet.

Merrick Garland's attorney general nomination is hitting GOP roadblocks that will likely delay his confirmation to lead the Justice Department until next week.

"There was an objection to expediting his nomination," Durbin said from the Senate floor. "As a consequence, we face the Senate procedure which means it could be delays even into next week before he can take job."

But Garland only needs 50 votes to be confirmed. No Democrat has said they will oppose him and he's picked up support from Republicans including Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.) and Judiciary Committee ranking member Chuck Grassley (Iowa).

3. Some repugh may have put a "Hold" on his vote in the full Senate.

A 60 vote majority is needed to break the Hold. Cruz put a hold on a recently approved Department Head and forced the Senate to remove the Hold before the final vote, the nominee was approved something like 85-15.

This is their game plan. It was expected. What is our game plan to be ahead of their expected moves, I wonder.

12. It is impossible to stop a Senator from putting a Hold.

I believe once one is done, a certain time duration has to expire before a vote to end the Hold can happen. That is what took place with the Cruz hold.
