Please don't tell me my shots aren't working because I had zero side effects.

That's the flip side of people saying, "Oh you know it's working if you have side effects!"

I've had both Pfizer shots and had no reaction whatsoever. Please don't imply there's something wrong unless you're a doctor with proof. Thank you.

don’t let these people spook you.

same thing happened to me with my Pfizer vaccination. Zero side effects.

that doesn’t mean that you aren’t vaccinated.

2. Thank you. I've seen several posts here saying that reactions are good because

they mean the vaccine is working. That's simply irresponsible.

as the body's immune system gearing up. (not irresponsible)
The corollary -- that little or no reaction is undesirable -- is completely false and should be refuted. Very light, or almost no, reactions are very much the norm -- particularly for Pfizer.

Either way (chipper, or punky for a short time)-- unless you are having a serious 'allergic' reaction (that your doctor/administrator explained with the shot) -- you're good. Go in peace.

side effects from the flu shot or other routine vaccinations.

Some people in my family do get that--a few days of a sore arm and some mild flu symptoms.

Congrats on getting vaccinated!

I've had a lot of vaccinations (military service) and never had a reaction to any of them. Not even the flu vaccine, back when reactions weren't so uncommon. Even the small pox re-vaccination failed to even raise a tiny blister. So, fingers crossed I'm feeling just fine, 2 weeks from today.

Don't worry Croney, the fact is, some people get side effects, and others don't.

Lack of side effects does not mean your shots are not working.
