by saying those who lived in states whose senators voted against it should not have received payments.

That would have thrown a few GOP senators into a panic as they faced angry constituents and the consequences of their own votes.

Of course, the Democrats could have voted the amendment down, but it certainly would have sent a strong message.

Not the first time insurrectionists have felt compelling need to hang together for survival. Or else.

The Republican insurrectionists takeover of what our founding citizens created failed ignominiously, though, and their party is threatening to collapse under them.
