More of the heroic white man and heartrending story. I would much prefer more stories about the Indians lives and the Indians massacred, then find 1 more story of times of the Indians made into a Heroic White Man story.

I read the novel when it came out. Then watched the movie a couple of weeks ago. Hanks did a great job as the lead. He also had a command performance in Greyhound, a WWII movie.
