FYI: There is a new Covid vaccine from India which will probably be fast tracked by the FDA

It is called COVAXIN and it targets the entire cell instead of the spikes. Can be stored at room temp (i think). Its effective against the variants that are popping up. Its being used in India. Brazil has ordered a bunch and I believe Mexico is looking to approve it for emergency use. There are no know side effects.

I'm not repping the thing so I won't post all the slideshow pics but if you are interested you can look it up. Personally after doing research and knowing people who have gotten the moderna vax I would ideally like to wait for this one.

They are also close to licensing a chimpanzee origin adenovirus vaccine produced with Astra Zeneca (Covishield). India has great experience producing vaccines and will likely emerge as a powerhouse for much of the rest of the world.

There has been some controversy over how they have conducted the clinical trials with Covaxin, but I think they will surmount the issues. Good for the rest of the world, if so.

Main goal right now is get a shot, any shot, when it’s available.

Keep yourself out of the ICU and off a ventilator.
