(58,785 posts)I let mine get long enough to put up each day, which in some ways is cooler and easier care than my old short wispy bob in the hot, humid south. But first real venture into normality, off it goes. I actually find myself longing to have it blowing light and free again. And gray's fine.

(58,785 posts)I'm sure gray to silver would have become a popular option long ago if it wasn't associated with age. So it's not hot with Gen X, Y and Z, I am aged and just wish my graying blonde would finally become a real look.
So congrats for that also.

I haven't had my hair done in a year. 'Doing box color (Madison Reed) I'm on my 3rd shade- still looking for "Mr. Right" in terms of the color as I used to get mine done in the shop with foils for highlights.
I do feel more confident re: Covid but its still a long way from being normal, i.e. going to the theater, movies, dining IN a restaurant, even going to Mass or traveling, renting a vacation house, etc.
Not there yet at all.
