Democrat Craig Hickman has just WON his special election to the Maine Senate.
With this victory, Craig becomes Maine’s first-ever openly gay Black state senator – after breaking that same barrier in the state House.
It also adds one more Democratic ally in a critical swing state, in a key swing district that Trump actually carried four years ago.
