From the Square Deal, to the New Deal, to the BFD.

The Square Deal brought the Gilded Age to an end.
The New Deal brought Business Über Alles to an end.
The BFD has brought the 'Reagan Revolution' (aka 'The Raw Deal') to an end ...

and that's a BFD.

You can put money into working people's pockets, without monstrous transfers to the wealthy.

The Build Back Better Bill will tie taxes on the well off, to the infrastructure the Republic desperately needs.

It's a well thought out political strategy.

I like that one. The tax cuts from Ronnie, W, and the Donald got us in this mess and accomplished nothing. One wonders what we could have done with all that money if applied to infrastructure, education, poverty, homelessness. The list goes on and on.

The legislation is expected to drive down the nation’s poverty rate from 12.3 percent to 8.3 percent, which means it will pull about 12 million people out of poverty, according to research led by Columbia University’s Zachary J. Parolin.
