I ran around in circles for a few hours!

(14,921 posts)have a small indoor retail space where they sell their own produce and home-made items such as prepared salads, salsas, etc., and they also sell some goods from other farms cooperatively. They are an outlet for a Mennonite family bakery, and I got a wonderful blueberry pie and some sourdough bread. The clerk who checked me out knew about pi day but the farm owner did not. I would not be surprised if they do their part to participate next year, as they are often looking for an angle to drive interest in the farm and its products.

(4,210 posts)Ran to Kroger and bought a toffee apple streusel pie. Had a little ice cream left so topped it with that. Great excuse to have pie!

(998 posts)Cherry pie filling I canned last summer with fresh sour cherries. So nice to make a simple crust, empty the jar onto the crust, and bake. It was yummy. For breakfast this AM, too. 😋
