We have a serious human trafficking problem in this country and it keeps getting worse. Maybe with Merrick Garland at the DOJ we will see a serious effort to fight the traffickers.

Whenever they get caught, they know nothing.

Some of them are so corrupt they'll threaten their own workers with deportation.

These corporations hire undocumented workers because they can be abused or easily disposed of when they begin to demand safer working conditions and better pay.

The world would be a better place without factory farm meat and dairy products -- for health reasons, for environmental reasons, and for workers.

Cheap bacon, milk, hamburgers, and chicken nuggets are not necessities.

It's all a for profit racket and while the various industries and services are making profits, politicians denigrate said workers for propaganda purposes.

so I haven't been to an Indian restaurant since I traveled to NYC and then I wouldn't know about that.

I know that my fav restaurant in Tulsa many years ago had total undocumented kitchen help and when Immigration came, they all fled out the back door except for the head chef who was from Tulsa. They always came on Friday or Saturday nights.

In Rogers, they would keep them in the restaurant for a while, maybe a month and then the whole crew was gone. I'm not sure if they were being smuggled or trafficked.

Oh, after about a year, the restaurant just closed down suddenly.
