Good news! The Senate just confirmed Vivek Murthy for Surgeon General
on a bipartisan vote. Very qualified, distinguished individual. I believe he is Indian American, of Asian descent too.
I know that Tammy Duckworth is upset that there aren't more Asians being nominated and confirmed. As far I'm concerned, she is never wrong about anything.
But I hope she is giving Biden credit for this nomination as well that of Neera Tanden. It's not his fault that the Repubs created a new category twitter etiquette for females to stop her.
