Conservatives have been sending the message that life means very little for years
It really is no surprise all these shootings. The so called 'pro-life' leaders have been sending the message to society for years that human life matters less than guns and money. We see this through their non-action after 100's of mass shootings, their attitude about health insurance, the environment, etc. It especially became clear this past year with Covid. Half a million deaths mean nothing to them. When I grew up in the 70's the general consensus was that human life was the most important thing and I think this attitude started shifting in the 80's with Reagan and the whole 'greed is good' and slowly metastasized to where we are today. I really wonder how a 21 year old brain is wired when this is all they've known. It really is mind blowing.

Republicans claim they are the party of God, family values, personal & fiscal responsibility, small government & free markets, & they've never been seriously challenged on these false messages from our side in 40 years. 
Our side needs a marketing department, stat!
