There Was No Transition! How Badly Trump Had Screwed Up Immigration

was not fully known until after the Inauguration. Now, people are blaming Joe Biden for things Trump did. It has only been just over 2 months since Biden took office. He cannot fix everything instantly, but he and VP Harris are working on the immigration issue very hard.

New facilities are being opened, but that takes time, too. You can't convert a convention center to house immigrants in 48 hours, for Pete's sake! But, those things are underway.

This is not Biden's crisis. It is a crisis of Trump's that was hidden during the transition period by Trump's obstructionism.

It's Being Handled! Give Biden a Chance!

The media is following Fox again. They have to have something to keep it looking like a horse race. Other than the border and OMG no press conference!!!! there is nothing to whine about. Juxtapose it to the madhouse on the right and they really are desperate

They think they must deliver the "news" in the most dramatic way possible.

What happened in December is no longer news. Everything is dealt with in "crisis mode," and then forgotten the next day or week.

It's not just Fox. It's the nature of "News" to talk about what is new, not what was news in the past.

Because of that the media treats the current border situation as if it is just now happening, rather than a continuing result of what happened during the Trump administration.

It's good to know what is happening today, but it is crucial to use our brains to think about how it relates to the past as well.

We're not very good at that, I think.

of what happened a month ago or six months ago. Many of the people at the border now began their journey months ago. The problem extends back for years, and was badly mismanaged by the previous administration.

What is happening today or this week has its roots in the past. We never hear about that in the news. We have to remember for ourselves and do our own thinking about what it means.

READ THIS ARTICLE: This is a set up. The previous administration KNEW there were more migrants arriving and did nothing to prepare or to assist Biden's transition team. They want Biden to fail so bad. Those fuckers.

Sitting on their hands': Biden transition officials say Trump officials delayed action on child migrant surge.

Trump officials didn't increase capacity for child migrants despite warnings, Biden transition officials say. "They were sitting on their hands," one said.

The transition official said the need to open more shelter space was clear in December 2020, based on a growing trend of unaccompanied minors crossing the border that began to emerge in the late fall, and it was communicated to Trump officials in multiple meetings, multiple times a week.
