Biden: "I might not be uniting the Congress but I'm uniting the country."

There was a time when Joe Biden was regarded as a loquacious loose cannon. Not now.

The Biden White House has exercised the tightest message discipline I can remember.

It is the Republicans in the House and Senate that are out of step, not Joe Biden.

I missed a lot of the live broadcast, but the part I caught was fantastic. We have a compassionate, intelligent, well-informed president who has no problem answering questions knowledgeably and thoroughly. It's so refreshing!

He continually makes distinctions that show political groups and players other than Republicans, while showcasing patriotism and the things that unite us. In doing so he is pushing the GOP further out on their radical limb. They have no escape, it's already too late.

The most obvious example, in my opinion, is the redoubtable Jen Psaki. I can't believe she doesn't get perfect marks from the (probably self-described) "experts" that watch and rate such positions. Apparently, there is an area, maybe two, where her performance has been less than excellent, but I'm not at all clear on what those are.

So....some quibbling may say otherwise, but the WH is doing a stellar job of staying on message, and making sure that message is reflected in their work.

A+ in my opinion.
