Polls? We don't need no stinkin' polls! Here's some good news.

Today I spent a few hours helping a friend move. His new home is in a well-to-do neighborhood in St Petersburg... Snell Isle for those familiar with the area. Wealthy, white-collar... a neighborhood I would expect to be substantially republican. OK, as we were driving through the neighborhood, I was counting yard signs. The Obama signs outnumbered the Romney signs by better than 3:1 . Completely unscientific survey, but I thought it worth mentioning.

Just for an experiment, I would spend $100 on Obama signs if someone would let me borrow a motion detector camera. Then, one by one I would put the signs out in the front yard and post on the internet the people who steal them.

every replacement sign is more money for the Obama campaign. Don't let the assholes get you down.

It is deeply abnormal. No one talks about it either.

No bumper stickers, no yard signs, nothing. Where you say? Arkansas. New stolen home of the Koch roaches.

With the noted exception of the teabaggers across the street.

Blue-collar, retires, young couples, some minorities, some rental homes. Not a whole lot of signs up... peeps are mostly trying to hang on to their homes. But, yea, I got teabaggers at the end of the block and scattered through the neighborhood. Dumbasses.
