Breaking: Shot fired at Obama campaign headquarters in Denver

Police say someone fired a shot at the Obama campaign's Denver headquarters Friday afternoon.

No one was injured, though people were inside the offices when the incident occurred, said Denver police spokeswoman Raquel Lopez.

"It looks like it was one shot that was fired into the structure," she said.
The incident happened at about 3 p.m. at the campaign's offices on West Ninth Avenue near Acoma Street, Lopez said.

I can call a spade a spade, or even a fucking shovel it I so please.

Acts like this are done to cause fear. Just being inside an Obama campaign office can get you killed. It is a blunt as strange fruit in the South.

We merely need to expose these people in the light of day. There is already far too much surveillance by the Govt. as is. I refuse to allow the petulant fringe rob me of my freedoms and liberty.

This is absolutely despicable and uncalled for. I don't care who the candidate is or who the party is, you don't risk innocent lives to take your frustration out. It's not like there was any chance the President himself was in there, so why do it? I am just glad everyone is OK, because that could have been much worse.

It's pathetic when you have to worry about security at your campaign field offices. Absolutely disgusting.

They talk about how they are trying to attract minorities to the GOP yet they tolerate this type of crap even cater to it.

If I were a person of color and happened to attend a Republican rally or event and saw people, even one person walking around wearing a shirt, pin, button, sporting a bumpersticker with that crap on there, I'd would be extremely offended and turned off to put it mildly.

Keep tolerating this racist behavior and the Party's dreams of diversity will remain just that.

It's pathetic.

looks more like a rock.

Bullet moves at a high velocity .
It appears that what ever broke that was moving at a very low velocity and had a lot of mass behind it.

If it was a bullet it should be able to be found rather easily in that back white sheetrock wall.

It very well could have been but typically glass doesn't shatter like that with a bullet.

Was that picture taken before the police arrived on scene?

Is there anymore information the police have put out yet.
This happened at 3:00 pm

bullet found , caliber , anything?

An expensive agency called the Department of Homeland Security. They "grew" the government to create it.

It will be nice to see their Frankenstein beat them down when they start going nuts.
