They are going to say the drugs killed Floyd and not even attempt to justify Chauvin’s actions

The condition was mentioned even as the cops were killing Floyd: "As Derek Chauvin knelt on George Floyd’s neck for the final moments of his life, a fellow police officer said, 'I am concerned about excited delirium or whatever.'"

5. Good old excited delirium syndrome

A syndrome, not a diagnosable illness, excited delirium never affects anyone except persons in police custody who are in the process of being tortured to death. Someone walking down the street or riding a rollercoaster or making love is never done in by excited delirium. Nobody can say why it's just people under lethal duress in a squad car, an interrogation room, or a jail cell are the only ones who ever succumb to excited delirium.

He wouldn’t be able to answer the first few obvious questions without incriminating or perjuring himself.

Was enough to make a pathetic loser cop like chauvin turn homicidal

7. It's almost always dangerous for a criminal defendant to testify.

No matter how well a witness is prepared, there is just no way to know what will happen on cross-examination.

If Chauvin testifies one of two things (or both) is true. Chauvin will testify only if he ignores the advice of counsel or defense counsel think things are going so badly that they must take a desperate shot.
