...why aren't the parents and smugglers of minor children dumped across our southern border being pursued and charged with child endangerment in their respective countries?
...since the parents don't like living free in their shitty country, maybe they'll like living in prison in their their shitty country better...
...and as a side note, why doesn't the media mention Joe's 2 trillion dollar infrastructure bill as spending over 10 years?...we'll spend over 7 trillion dollars on the military over 10 years just so corporate American can loot and pillage worldwide with impunity...
...Republicans keep calling it a tax INCREASE when it's only tax REPLACEMENT for the greedy 1%...when the 1% and corporate America loot the treasury and we have to pay more taxes to foot the bill, now that's a tax INCREASE...
...there, I feel better...

(3,164 posts)...I seen two babies, 5 and 7 years old this morning on TV being dropped over the border wall by smugglers that were given to them by shitty parents...
...imagine the terror in those children...could you dump and abandon your 5 or 7 old child that way?
...I couldn't...

(34,112 posts)Especially when T started dumping some of them back over the border without anyone waiting for them. Well, maybe the cartels were waiting.
It just made me so furious and sad. All they are doing is trying to make a better life for their kids. Who does not do that?

(3,164 posts)...by abandoning them...
...we should ask the 5 year old dropped 15 feet to ground on the back side of a wall at night by a stranger whether they're having a better life...
...but okay, have a good day...

(34,112 posts)it seems unfair to figure that they walk all that way through hunger, stranger fear and whatever weather they encounter just to throw their kids over a wall and walk away.
Is what you assume possible? Of course it is but it seems highly unlikely to me.
I could not imagine how horrible the conditions are to make a person make that decision. I refuse to fault them and cannot believe they would make that hard trip just to get rid of their children. There is a point when you see nothing for your kids but pain and misery and you make a decision that is painful to you in hopes for something better for them.
I have spent a little time in some of the central American countries and also in Mexico. I saw some pretty hard conditions around. Hard enough that I can understand where that kind of tragic thinking might come from. I was never where it was really bad. Honduras comes to mind as one of the harshest.
I am not sure I could even think of doing that but then I raised my kids in relative comfort so how can I judge these people harshly?
