DOJ sued the hospice company founded by Florida Senate President Don Gaetz, accusing the company of engaging in Medicare fraud for more than 11 years, including during the time Gaetz was vice chairman.
Ive tweeted about this before, but now is a good time to again.

(8,089 posts)has been "welfare fraud" which broadly defined means black, brown and disabled people getting any kind of assistance from the government.
And as with "voter fraud" the occasional anecdote of someone collecting SSDI or Worker's comp and then earning sub minimum wage as a baby sitter or what have you is supposed to be equivalent to the hundreds of millions of dollars bilked from the system by conservative con artists and grifters.
We should always be clear about this: the vast majority of "voter fraud" is perpetrated by Republicans in the form of voter suppression and jerrymandering, as well as instances of individuals actually voting where and how they aren't supposed to.
The vast majority of "welfare fraud" is committed by corporations and grifters bilking Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, and any other government program to which they can get access.
