EXCLUSIVE: 'His friend has been singing to the feds - that's why Matt is so freaked out.' Gaetz's arrest is imminent as jailed tax collector Joel Greenberg faces charges of having sex with same 17-year-old and 'making fake ID's with the congressman'
'Rest assured that Greenberg has been singing to the feds about his friend Matt Gaetz. That's why Matt is so freaked out.'
Gaetz's arrest is said to be imminent after the alleged victim, who has not been named, testified before a Florida grand jury this week saying she had sex with the conservative Republican before she turned 18, DailyMail.com has learned.

(19,204 posts)is handling all of this? Ms. Luckey probably isn't feeling very lucky at this moment. I hope this ruins Gaetz's entire life. If she's smart she'll run away in terror. To think that Matt is going to be faithful is a pipe dream, and she'd be better off dumping his smarmy ass right now.

(34,139 posts)My theory is she could be marrying him for his Daddy's money.
In 2013, the United States Department of Justice filed a lawsuit against VITAS for allegedly committing Medicare fraud since 2002, when Gaetz still worked at the company, though Gaetz denied any role in any wrongdoing that occurred.[3] The case was settled in January 2018 with a confidential settlement.

(19,204 posts)that's exactly what she'll look like, a gold digger. Maybe she's as big an asshole as he is, in which case they deserve the misery they'll inflict on each other.

(649 posts)When I was much younger, many women were looking only for a man with money to take care of them. We women have a long way to go still and it is entirely possible that she will stick with him. It's really sad if that is the case.
You just don't like him because he's Donny Osmond's look alike.

(42,862 posts)Gaetz's "smile" looks like a grimace. A scowl. Like he's in a rage 24/7. It's like he's constipated.

(16,546 posts)I don't think he looks like Donny at all. They both have small, regular features, but Gaetz's features are all crowded together in the middle of his face like they're trying to hide from that huge chin and forehead. The constipated grimace heightens the effect by squeezing them together even more.
Also, Donny Osmond strikes me as a genuinely nice person. Gaetz, otoh....

Especially since the Georgia legislature voted to rescind Deltas tax break on fuel...just to punish their CEOs statement on the repugnant voting law. How fucking petty can Repukes get? Try coming up with some ACTUAL POLICY and maybe more citizens would support you.

(833 posts)from the recent, unlamented past. As usual, repugs get it backwards. If this perv is jailed, how man of them will have been locked up? That includes Michael Flynn, one of the "locker-uppers-in-chief." The chief of them all is on an ever-shortening leash. How many dem officials, including Hilary Clinton?

Though being from the Florida panhandle, this might not effect his electability for Congress. Panhandle politics are some of the dirtiest and disgusting in the country, so republiCONS in his district probably won't care at all. They'd re-elect a sex offender to office, they really would.

Unfortunately, the country is full of men who think that's what teenage girls are for, that they're fair game as soon as they hit puberty. All he has to do is say she lied about her age. Of course, he's still facing a violation of the Mann Act if he took her across state lines, but that's usually a fine and community service.

(43,353 posts)Almost begs the question, was this a nascent operation that this drumpy wannabe was setting up? There was something about the fake IDs using Canadian profiles, but that got dropped.
Is Matt Gaetz bright enough to conceive this and pull it off? Yes, his buddy, but even he is a low level tax collector.

(43,353 posts)Their focus is on, of course, the underage aspect. Seriously criminal. But they don't mention too much the pay to play aspect, the travel, hotel, drugs ... ho hum, another day. They saw receipts, apps. And they barely mention the financial end of it ... structuring is what caught Hastert. Almost feel like this issue is being layed out in the open for consideration. No big deal as long as consenting adults? THIS is the party of morality, family values? Are they protecting the women, or the Republicans? Because if this were street level it would be plastered all over the media

(1,347 posts)and it never happens. I had heard SDNY was all set to jump on Donny as soon as he was out of office, and it's been months and nothing. I will believe it when it happens, and I doubt it will happen. Matt will skate, like all R's do. He was also supposedly one of the ones who gave pre-1/6 tours of the Capitol.

Won't it be nice to see Gaetz led out in cuffs? I know I'm looking forward to that!

They never got Heidi Fleiss's black book years ago, and they will have a hard time getting gehslaine? to talk and name names.
I'm sure that Epstein's and Gehslaine? have a list somewhere, that they kept as insurance. Probably a lot of high ranking politicians, Uber wealthy fat cats, judges, Federal Law enforcement individuals, and other famous people would pay an awful lot to keep that list buried.......They probably had something to do with Epstein "hanging himself"........
I have given up trying to think about when all of this shit is ever gonna end........
