libya is the republican october surprise. they will be fucking relentless on it, as will the media.

they see it as an opportunity, a chink in the armor.

day in, day out, with the amplifier of the media it will be non-stop.....

ala Jimmy Carter & John Kerry.....

Presidential Foreign Policy Debate Topics Announced

The topics for the third and final presidential debate, which will focus exclusively on foreign policy, were announced in Friday.

Politico's Mike Allen was the first to post the topics, which were selected by the moderator, CBS anchor Bob Schieffer. The debate will take place on Oct. 22nd at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida.

The topics are:

America's role in the world Our longest war -- Afghanistan and Pakistan Red Lines -- Israel and Iran The Changing Middle East and the New Face of Terrorism (two segments) The Rise of China and Tomorrow's World
The format for the third debate will be the same as the first debate, which was structured in relatively open-ended, fifteen-minute segments. Whether Schieffer takes a more active role than Lehrer did remains to be seen; he is temperamentally and generationally much closer to Lehrer than to Martha Raddatz, who moderated the vice presidential debate, or Candy Crowley, who will moderate the second presidential debate on Tuesday.

17. It was known months ago that the final debate would be on foreign policy

At that point, an announcement of the topics seems fairly trivial. What else would they talk about if the debate is about foreign policy?

it was a tragedy...but it was no 9/11, or USS Cole, or Mogadishu.

In the grand scheme of things, I just don't think it's going to register that strongly, not amongst all the other issues.

Not that they won't try, but

They have nothing else. And all the Democrats have to do is to keep pointing out how the GOP voted against needed funding for more security and other stuff for the State Department. A couple of adds run right after the Pres. makes a point of this during the final debate.

Need to get details of the situation that is happening at the non-Union manufacturing plant in Illinois where Bain Capital is closing the plant down and sending the jobs to China. And Bain is forcing the american workers to train their chinese replacements. And Bain took down the american flag and put up the chinese flag at the plant. And Mitt Romney owns 57% of the company that is closing the plan and outsourcing the jobs. Distribute video of the workers protesting to save their jobs and livelihoods. The plant closing is what Mitt Romney's adult life has been. The plant closing is OUR October surprise. The plant closing is more important than Libya because it affects out lives directly.

That's the looming threat created by the regime change operation in Libya. There are now about 15,000 SAM7s loose ass a result.

Romney's Bain Selling Out American Workers to China

As covered on the ED show last night on MSNBC: http://www.youtube.com/watch?&v=UDqCrbz4OvU

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/10/10/us/politics/as-romney-repeats-trade-message-bain-maintains-china-ties.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0

"In addition, Mr. Romney’s generous retirement agreement ensures that he continues to profit from the deals and decisions that Bain makes. He owns about $8 million worth of Bain funds that hold 51 percent of Sensata’s shares. If Sensata saves money by closing the Freeport plant, that could add money to Mr. Romney’s trust accounts, now or after the election."

Republicans revealed the location of the CIA base in Libya last week.
A Republican went on national TV to attack the President while the crisis was still unfolding.

There. Done. Now let's move on to the next issue.
