I prefer to maintain a comfortable lead in states where R's are attempting to steal the election. That said - I agree - not time to panic.

Makes sense now. I was confused as I thought it said Clinton result 2004 vs election result. Darned kindle font.

Bush was losing the state by 7% according to some poll FOUR days before the election and went on to win it by about 3%. Screw margin of error, polls just aren't always right. The only Ohio poll now that matters is the early voting returns, which are quite positive.

then claim Obama lost a point or gained a point.
None of these polls are that accurate to say when someone lost or gained a point. It's noise.

He goes with the not-too extreme notion that in some countries, it is illegal to publish poll results. He also suggests that campaigns not be allowed to run more than six weeks and all campaigns paid for with tax dollars (it being illegal for politicians to take money for any reason). Most of our political problems would be solved overnight.

So much for accuracy of the polls.
The only thing we can do is ignore the polls, then get out there and vote.

I think it's pretty telling when posters start becoming active only to spread bad news. This poster was pretty quiet over the weeks where it looked like Obama was going to blow Romney out of the water and then all the sudden, here they are posting bad news after bad news ... it's like a thrill for 'em.

Not saying this poster is a troll ... but they seem to get too much enjoyment in posting bad news.

It's sad that Democrats (?) would take glee in reporting negative news. It's as if someone is trying to, you know, dispirit the base.

It sure is. I love the opportune Obama will gut "Social Security" posts, when the polls are down a bit too.
