Am I the only one who thinks that Romney supporters are like pod people

I work in retail, and the customers who support him scare me. They look and act normal sometimes, but when they start to talk about "Obamacare" etc. they mutate into soulless shells in human form. I think it's that they walk and talk like normal people that frightens me and makes me depressed...

It's always worse at election time. Their masks seem to fall off. People who seem nice and normal turn out to be empty suits.

1. I deal with it every day at work

and some of the people that I would never imagine just looking would be voting for Romney. Then a few words out their mouths and you instantly know why.

2. There was a great Dr Who episode on this phenomenon.

It was the one where normal looking people literally come out of
their skin as monsters.

5. stephen king did a great short story on the subject - nicotine made alien invaders visible

so the aliens in powerful positions were trying to outlaw smoking. it was hysterical! stephen was a smoker at the time, and felt strongly about it. he also wrote a book about how all people who were on a cell phone at a certain time turned into shambling zombies. he doesn't like cell phones, can you tell?

it's a popular theme. john carpenter did a great take on it, called "they live."

7. ah, yes, the slitheen! i love the last few dr. who doctors, especially david tennant

i love the actress who played blon-fel (the lady slitheen.) she's marvelous!

4. Saw a bumper sticker yesterday

in my red midwest town,it said--"ANYONE BUT OBAMA 2012''--

They don't like romney,but they despise President Obama.

You can't argue with a sick mind.

6. their hate makes them blind

that's why they upset me so much. i have one coworker who yammers about "obamacare" all the time. she has no teeth.

8. There are three houses in the neighborhood with rMoney signs now. I know two of them.

I like both of them and consider them friends, but they just don't grasp what is at stake here. The third I do not know, but they've got enough money for very expensive cars and SUVs so I think I know where they're coming from.

I've got two Obama/Biden signs out. The rMoney signs didn't appear until after I put mine out.

9. I just un-friended several on facebook.

I work with their agency, and I just can't read their crap anymore.

I tell you, if Rmoney wins, I'll just sit back and laugh at their stupidity - when I'm not crying.
