Amazing.
Ironically, shortly before COVID broke out, I had been reading about the devastation the plague had wrought on the Scandinavian countries. Whole areas remained unpopulated for around 1000 years before people could coax themselves to reoccupy them. It was profound and it looks like a lesson was learned.

(50,962 posts)it's been a clusterfuck (hardly surprising for Brussels). We here in Sweden at least do not have the massive vax hesitancy a shedload of other EU nations have, like France.

(24,199 posts)in hopes of using idle vaccine as they're running out of willing patients in certain parts of the state. We're only at 43% of the eligible population vaccinated. Not the best sign.
