Time to rally

The infighting that is all of sudden on DU is worrisome from my view. I understand the viewpoint of those concerned with Obama's debate performance, but I don't agree it was as bad as it has been claimed. I would venture to say it will not be front in center once the next debate rolls around.

The next hot topic issue I see is about the "undecideds" or "Independent" voters. Folks (Thanks Joe Bidens), use your common sense. These people that are registered "Independents" are not low information voters or the "undecideds". They tend to be more pragmatic thus, they have already decided which way they are going to vote. Pragmatism doesn't mean you stay in limbo forever, or decide at the last moment. You tend to take more time, but eventually the fence straddling is over with quickly.

From my view win or lose, you have to at least try. And to do so you must be united to even to make that attempt. But being divided and conquered makes this ultimate goal difficult. Reality is, people must understand that nothing is a slam dunk either way. People assumed that Obama would knock it out of the park in the first debate, but that was proven wrong. People assumed that Biden would lose his first debate which was also proven wrong. No one truly knows, so lets see how it plays out before sticking the daggers in each others backs.

On a final note, let me say that the world is watching us, and lets act like we are united in progressive ideals. The world wants to believe Progressive movement still has life. To do so, we must show empathy, and understanding of one another. If we let fear swell in the ranks then it is over before it has even started.
