They take themselves very seriously, hate to be laughed at, take offense and never learn from their goof-ups. They just make excuses or claim prejudice from anyone who calls them out. The wonderful, acerbic wit from the likes of Wm. F. Buckley are way in the past. God, do they need someone like him today!
