We need to re-imagine how we do policing and public safety in this country.

In my opinion, there should be no white cops in these neighborhoods. If they cannot hire black policeman, then they would be better policing themselves.

If a white cop does enter the neighborhood, he should be unarmed and with a fellow black policeman, who could be armed for protection.

There are no easy solutions. But something needs to be done.

The black kids are afraid of the white cops and the cops are afraid of the black kids. That is an untenable situation.

Just my opinion.

1. Community policing is still policing, built on white supremacy, no matter who is carrying out

its objectives. Community policing actually weaponizes communities against themselves. Policing cannot be reformed.
