Senator Grassley And The Free Market Wage

In a town hall meeting recently Senator Grassley brought up the idea that we do not need a minimum wage. His belief is that the free market should set the level of a minimum wage. It is all part of the "freedom" meme against regulation and getting the government off of people's back. What Grassley is saying is exactly what the GOP policy is on wages and benefits. And we can see why business really supports such an idea.

It falls into the meme that workers should be happy to foot the bill for business giving them the privilege to work for them. Since you have no right to a job that pays squat, you should be happy with your shackles.

The other idea that he expressed was the we need to have a wage structure closer to the Chinese model. It looks like they play this tune to their supposedly friendlier audiences where they do not let you record anything. If their base believes that crap then they really are a bunch of brainwashed nuts.

And that is the problem in that most Americans are so mad they are being encouraged to vote for Romney on this "personal freedom" meme. In actuality it is a fraud and a trap to get people to vote for their economic slavery. And it fits a patterns of telling your base in almost secret meetings one thing and putting out and entirely different message for the masses.

ADDENDUM - My belief is that such a policy plays into the unspoken belief by the GOP is that businesses should be "entitled" to keep 100% of their profit. That society is being given the privilege of them providing services. They seem to believe that only the work force should pay for ALL of the infrastructure. As they attack "entitlements" the rich themselves are the ones claiming entitlement. The GOP projects what they are doing onto everyone else as a diversion. It is a twisted logic.

They hide behind all these memes so they can obfuscate what they are really doing like "The Wizard Of Oz". Of course they do not openly run on this idea but they use all the generic political code talk to make you believe just the opposite. Romney, Ryan, the GOP and business are running the biggest "bunko"operation in the history of politics in this election cycle. And the media is conspiring to sell it and betray the country.

Way to go Grassley. I guess the markets are only free for those at the top.

We need to become China. These assholes wont rest until the middle class is gone. In their world you're either at the top or you stay in your place at the bottom. They despise the middle class and the idea that someone would be able to live a modest middle class life with real hard work and manual labor. That's unthinkable to them.
