And it is obvious that many do not stop to think the magnitude of this term.

I admit, I had a similar reaction when I received the recent issue of TIME magazine where the cover story was "The Lost Year."

We also have a friend who has been complaining about closed schools, especially about lack of school sports.

This is a pandemic! We keep saying.

Yes, I am sorry for students who lost a year, especially seniors who were ready to apply for college.

But this is a pandemic!

I suppose we were lucky that we did not have so many dead people that funeral homes could not come to collect our dead loved ones, the way it was in Italy last year.

Perhaps too many were not personally touched, did not know anyone who lost their lives.

I suppose many have not grasped the loss of more than half a million people. I don't know whether anyone still keeps count. Here we have it locally.

I certainly do not wish for all of these people to face a loss of a dear family member or a friend but this is a pandemic!

1. Jordan was disgusting

Acting as if Anthony Fauci was a fascist who is taking away his constitutional rights including freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, freedom of religious expression, etc. He also wanted Fauci to pin down exactly when his freedoms will be returned, as if it was a simple formula.

All I kept thinking about was that this is a freaking pandemic, and you’re treating it like it’s somebody’s fault.
