DAY 5 Brooklyn Center Protest - De-escalation by police IS WORKING!

95% of protesters are peaceful.

Brooklyn Center leadership has asked law enforcement to de-escalate,- and it is working!
Brooklyn Center also asked for no tear gas and they have not used any. No rubber bullets, and it is working!

There are de-escalators in the crowd talking down aggregators. It is working!

The city wants police to interact with the protestor differently,- and it is working, so far.

to arrest all of them tonight, hold them in custody until Monday and have a quiet weekend.

3. Very interesting change of tactics

the crowd seemed to get tense as the curfew time approached. As it passed and nothing happened, almost everyone left by 10:30

No "kettle" tonight. No gas. No rubber bullets.

Unicorn Riot's coverage included first hand reports of all the injuries. Some seizures.
People are back tonight and have bandages.

Tonight is calm. Most have gone home now.
