Officer shot and wounded by driver, returns fire and shoots 3 in the car, 2 dead.

The ONLY thing that will lower shooting numbers is HARSH enforcement of existing laws.

How about empty the prisons of non-violent offenders and fill them with violent gun criminals? Felon in possession? 10 years automatic sentence.
