Neither of which have anything to do with terminating a pregnancy.

Anti intellectual, anti science, religious quackery that is harmful an dangerous. Dunno about the other two, but Cawthorn is a super fundie home-schooled cretin. This is exactly why we don't vote on cancer treatment. They know the umbilical cord has something to do with pregnancy, and women should be pregnant, anyway. They are too stupid to understand what they're voting on, so they reject it out of hand.
