Note the date on the article. I suggested in an earlier post that the same problem might be associated with other vaccines using an adenovirus vector.

That said, on a quick read I don't see any of the characteristics cited for either J&J or AstraZeneca (cerebral venous sinus thrombosis, splanchnic vein thrombosis, low levels of platelets, aggravated by heparin, PF4 antibodies)

Mode of action most suspected right now is DNA fragment particles forming weak ionic bond with platelets then immune response to foreign DNA thus binding the platelets.

but it sounds like an abnormally high platelet concentration, rather than low. But I haven't had time to read it in detail.
