Ted Lieu has some questions for the insurrectionist supporting Nazis in the house...

Last edited Sat Apr 17, 2021, 08:00 AM - Edit history (1)

Anglo - Saxon caucus? Good grief. I suppose Klu Klux Klan and the Patriots were already taken.

Also - have they never heard of 1066. Angles and Saxons disappeared into the mists of history a very long time ago. But Nazi be stupid Nazi. All the best people belong to this caucus. They have even let in an alleged child sex trafficker into its elite ranks. Gonna guess a fine upstanding citizen like Ted would not be welcome amongst the (apparently resurrected)angles and saxons (cultural appropriation by the fascist white supremacist part of amerikkka anyone?), and also gonna guess that Ted will not be devastated to not be amongst them.

I’ll bet the last one left office years ago.

I’ll also bet that none of them know where East Anglia is or where Saxony is. After all, most of them were incapable of telling which continent Benghazi was located on, and they were obsessed with the place for ten years. Hell, I bet nowadays, over half the Republicans can’t even tell you why.

And what do they do with Scots? Well north of the borders, they're mostly Hibernian Gael and an old, possibly Celtic group we still know little about. Plus a big dash of Scandinavian in the Hebrides, Orkney's and Shetlands. Plus a smattering of Norman, which is really an amalgamation of Scandinavian and French. And the Angles and Saxons. Mixed with Celtic Britons and Latins, conquered by the Danes, Swedes and Norwegians, and then by the Normans.

They've been throwing around Anglo Saxon since being in the Klan was thought cool. But I don't think it means what they think it means.

Nothing and nothing really will.

Oh, a couple low end people will be slapped across the wrists but by delaying it long enough, American's short term memory will come into play and it'll go away because some other shiny object will be introduced.

By making those pay, too much would be changed even for those who didn't do anything and if there's one thing THESE people can't tolerate, it's change in THEIR lives and lifestyle. They're happy in their little "don't make waves" political community and so long as it doesn't affect THEM personally, why worry about things.

While you can't really see the social boundaries where American's like Green live, nevertheless they are there. And Green et al wants to keep it that way because they are afraid they might lose something they have by being born white and are entitled to for their own selfish reasons.

Greed isn't just about money, it's about making sure you get "yours" and making sure "others" don't try to limit in anyway what you think is your right to have.

Rights are for whites. If you're different color-wise, physically, mentally or financially or aren't in the same "class" (even if you're white) then, grudgingly (sigh!), you still have rights...but it's up to YOU to EARN what some think some are entitled to because...

I had a philosophy Prof back in the '60s who made an interesting comment in class:
Everyone has the privilege of success, but the RIGHT of failure! And you will find in life that failure is the only Right Americans really have!

He knew it but we didn't. I think he was speaking to our future.

When Italians, Irish, Greeks, Portuguese, Spanish, Jews, Poles, Russians, Chinese or Catholics of any stripe need not apply.

I often chuckle when I see folks of those extractions hanging out with white supremacists. Because I remember a time when THEY would have been on the business end of a cross burning. It's not only white people, but only certain white people.

which I probably could not join, except in spirit. I guess that's their point. Greene and Gosar will hold up the CBC as a justification for creating this.

But the fact that they feel threatened by the CBC and have to react to it gives away the game. This is about fear of dwindling numbers of whites, which means the glory days of the Republican party are behind them — unless they succeed in suppressing the votes of “undesirables.”
