That was the limit we allowed for billboards when I was an ad agency copywriter. They have to pass the 35 mph test.

It's a good message, but I wish they'd either shorten it or buy digital ads instead.

Everyone’s definition of sensible and reasonable are different and either the conversation goes nowhere or they pass some meaningless watered down laws that don’t really prevent anything but they can say they did something.

To me this billboard speaks to the inability of gun owners to address the need/necessity for their guns to be "protected" by up to date laws. Of course to many gun owners, any laws that do anything to limit guns step on their rights. The victims of gun violence always seem to take second tier to second amendment gun rights.

The truth is that lots of gun laws have been passed and can be passed with the 2nd Amendment in place.
