.The Bush-Cheney Administration. I am not willing to give W a pass. I condemn him.

Criminal negligence in the lead up to 9/11
Afghanistan/Tearing up the Geneva Convention
Botching the pursuit of Bin Laden
Waterboarding
Full on torture in 'Arab Allies'
WMD lies.
Iraq War
The 'Not Napalm' burning alive of hundreds of thousands of people.
Abu Ghraib
Blackwater
The profiteering that reduced Iraqi to economic rubble
GitMo's kangaroo courts.

All this set the stage for Dumbf: My party right or wrong. Evil is OK as long as Republicans direct it. A stupid man out of his depth is OK as long as he's GOP.

The proposals to privatize Social Security / School vouchers
AG Gonzo
Katrina/Heck of a job Brownie
Criminal negligence in the regulation of banks / financial sector
The Great Recession.

I agree that Darth had a lot do do with the conduct of that Administration. But ultimately the responsibility rests with the president.

Without W there would not have been a Dumbf Administrarion

me little hope that our nation will ever hold it's leaders accountable. They live in a different universe than do other citizens. Trump was absolutely the result of America's seemingly endless support for corruption and greed at the nation and even state level.

Besides if he’s okay with Obama’s he’s okay with me. He has been helpful to Democrats recently.

There was a loooong thread here a few days ago on how we should pity trump and not hate him.

If some can say such absolute crap about trump, I can soften my feelings to all the bushes. Even Liz Cheney is getting pats on the back these days.

As a matter of fact it was probably the so-called "religious right" that gave him the votes and put him in power. Without them, the mess in Florida - counted chads etc. - would have made no difference.

About your list - You make a lot of good points here my friend, but several items on this list should be rolled into one. The evil that happened AFTER we engaged in the assault on Saddam Hussein, it all comes later as part of that. If the US had gone after Osama Bin Laden (rather than Saddam) then the last 20 years of our country's history would have been completely different.

Bush and Cheney are responsible for the evil done to Saddam and Iraq, and I will always hate them for it.
