Got appointments, looking for transportation through drive-through.
I use Lyft regularly, but don't know if they will do this.

One or both Uber and Lyft might actually have 'programs' to do this for people for free, worth a check.

(13,571 posts)Love Lyft and use it for medical appointments regularly.
But this could take significant wait time for the driver in the line. Yes, our taxi service could do it, but they are not reliable time-wise. So many drivers have quit during the pandemic for lack of business.

(44,974 posts)That doesn't include waiting with you in the car.
You will also have to wait 15 minutes after vaccination.
I don't see any way you could pay for it using an app.

(13,571 posts)I had to cancel an appointment last month because they couldn't get a driver, despite it being a time call for 10 a.m. that I scheduled the night before. And I'm sad about that, because I have used this cab service since I was a teenager, occasionally.
The pandemic killed the taxi business. Drivers quit for lack of fares.

(37,748 posts)I was scheduled to drive her (a few neighbors and I take turns assisting her with errands, etc.) , but got an emergency call-in to the office and arranged for Lyft to take her instead.
She said the driver was kind and kept her from feeling anxious.
This was in north central TX. I have zero idea of it's a regional/state policy or not.

Have them drop you off and pick you up later.

(18,497 posts)And your attitude toward them.
I had an Uber or Lyft driver help me out when I had lost my keys at a store.
He spent a couple of hours and four destinations getting me straight and back in my apartment and car.
And the actual charge on my car was only about $20.
My tip was very generous, though.

I presume a Lyft driver will do it as long as you're willing to pay them.
Get vaccinated
