As I'm sure some DUers know city government workers are "returning to work" beginning next week.
Isn't odd that there aren't many complaints about remote workers over the past year and yet there is still a push to "reopen" the city anyway during a pandemic?
If you live in the NY area and/or just want to support the cause of telework please see this petition for a permanent telework program started by DC37 members.

Or support mayoral candidates that explicitly support a permanent telework program (maybe members of our news media will get around to asking each candidate what their position would be before the primary). So far Andrew Yang is the only one who clearly is against remote work. I imagine Scott Stringer would be for it but it would be nice to see this in black and white.

(4,111 posts)they reported to me that deBlasio's claim that city government workers will be back in the office is deceiving. Most workers will be in the office only once a week.
