One with which I happen not to disagree. (See what I did there?)
There’s no evidence, of course, that the missing kids were folded into a broader kiddie-sex trafficking scheme. But the possibility does fit snuggly into what we know about Republicans and Trump (hereinafter “Flubbo”).
This is not to say Flubbo is, himself, a molester of young boys and girls, just that he hangs out with so many of them that it is not impossible or improbable that he had full knowledge of it and allowed the trafficking to happen, concealing himself behind his usual wall of plausible deniability.
And, of course, in his “defense” (!) Flubbo, by his association with Jeffrey Epstein, exhibited a hankering for young adolescent females, not for little boys and girls. Still, raping a 13 year old may be the Rubicon separating decency from total sexual depravity, and Flubbo crossed that river long ago.
I absolutely believe that the GOP’s lurid dwelling on tales of child sex trafficking stems from their intimate, personal experiences with it. Oh, not every Fascist-GOP member is into sodomizing children, of course. But those who don’t partake and haven’t partaken certainly know those who do and who have -- and they accept the behavior because, well, as long as it ain’t their kids, it’s not their problem.
The darkness in which the entire GOP dwells is soul-eating and, especially in the case of children, horrifyingly evil.
