Hes a millionaire television host, but is he smarter than a sixth-grader?
Fox News anchor Brian Kilmeade almost got into an argument with a middle school student who defended President Bidens pandemic response during a live interview Wednesday morning.
The Dumb Fux & Friends co-host, one of the channels loudest defenders of former President Donald Trump, was interviewing a group of children for a segment apparently designed to trash the countrys delay in fully reopening schools. But when he asked Philadelphia sixth-grader Mason Seder what he missed most about attending school in person, the boys answer caught the conservative personality by surprise.
I miss most, obviously, seeing my friends and all the after-school activities that I have done, Mason said. I think that were very, very close to getting back to school, and I think that the way that our new president is handling things is a very good way and we would not have gone to this if it were still the last president.

Kilmeade is as dumb in real life as his SNL caricature.

(9,959 posts)... completely ungracious. I wouldn't snap at the kid like that - no matter who they support for President.

(11,738 posts)I know this is Monday morning quarterbacking, but it would have been great if the kid could have said, "Just because he wanted us back in school doesn't mean he would have done a good job getting us back in there safely."
We all know Trump was a disaster. He wanted kids back in school because he thought it would make him look good. That is all. There was no plan, no coordination, no support. Cases were still climbing, not declining. The hospitalization rate was still high, as was the death rate. What Trump wanted is irrelevant to what needed to be done to get there. Kilmeade is being a dick to 6th grade kids who basically just made him look bad on air because they were more prepared than he was.

(47,501 posts)but I wouldn't exactly call that "snaps at 6th grader". Kind of a misleading headline.
