I hope our party "nationalizes" the 2022 midterms.

Run on this:

- Republicans tried to stop you from getting another round of stimulus, they tried to stop you from getting a more affordable Obamacare premium, and they tried to stop you from getting increased child tax breaks. Democrats delivered all of that in 2021. Republicans didn’t even have a plan.

- Republicans voted against increasing vaccine production and widening distribution. Democrats delivered all of that in 2021. Republicans didn’t even have a plan.

- If the current Republican Party were in charge, America would still be in the worst grip of the pandemic, and you would have less money for bills, for rent & mortgage, for food. Your kids would still not be able to return to the classroom. Unemployment would still be raging. Democrats are getting us out of the mess the Republican Party put us in. We still have a long way to go. Democrats see the future like you do. Republicans don’t have a plan for a future in which your life is better.

Making “Election Day” a National Holiday.
I can see a day as important as that, being as important as any other holiday.

But I’d rather see a three-day voting period. Maybe Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. That’ll never happen, so at least we’re pretty well along in each state having early vote and vote by mail.
