Lamar County TX Dem Party refuses resignation of Chairman who apologized to Tim SCOTT
I'm with them.
First of all, APOLOGIES are worthless. Social services training is that apologies are used by perpetrators as PERMISSION to perpetrate again. This is not a matter of a “perpetrator.”
Secondly, it is highhanded, hypocritical crap for ABBOTT and all other wingnut CRIMINALS to tell, demand, or dictate what Democrats should do about ouir internal decisions. Like when Ruben NAVARRETTE tells Dems what Dem candidates or policies we should pursue. Another dictum in counseling is to prohibit giving advice that is not asked for.
Thirdly, I routinely call Dem constituents who are wingnuts all the parallel names "turncoats", and worse if I knew worse words. (I was sheltered until coming back from the Navy.)
