A report from the Banks County Health Department shows that 2,769 residents have received two doses of the vaccination, while 3,528 residents have received one dose. is next to ours and, yes, mostly pretty darned rural, mostly farms, but I-85 runs through its southern part and people around there are within commuting distance of metro Atlanta and Athens. And as pointed out, Democrats and also elderly at-risk conservatives should push that number up considerably.

16. What is the vaccination rate in rural black Georgia?

As other posters have pointed out the rate in Banks county is not 4%, it is about 19%. I looked up Lowndes county. Lowndes is part of the historical Black belt in GA. It is about 75% AA. Its vaccination rate is 21%, just barely above Banks. So it seems it is a rural issue as opposed to a racial issue.
