His wife has known since 2015 that he molested his sisters, chose to take him back and have three more kids with him putting her faith in a bit of software to curb his worst instincts.

He was also busted cheated on her when the Ashley website was hacked but she still didn't kick him to the curb. Her parents are brainwashed fundamentalists who homeschooled her as well and I guess at this point with seven kids and no education she figures he's a sunk cost.

CPS wouldn't have jurisdiction to monitor him as an adult under these conditions.

The porn monitoring was probably just a husband/wife thing where she caught him viewing some (presumably adults), and threatened to leave if he didn't stop, and put the software on his computer to make sure ... is my guess.

I'm guessing the wife didn't know about the child sexual abuse images until he was arrested.

He had a Linux partition on his laptop that skirted Covenant Eye which is the program his wife used to monitor his activity. He watched a video of a child rape that the investigator called one of the top 5 worst things he'd ever seen in his career. All this and the judge still let him out on bail.
I fell into a Reddit thread about this yesterday which I now kind of wish I'd never seen. They are literally going to let some church friends watch him. There are guns in their house and their daughter gives piano lessons. Also this POS has like 5 or six kids of his own. He'd be a good candidate for chemical castration.

There's a lot a husbands who are (regular) porn addicts, and it's a problem for their marital relations.

The software in use I'm sure was designed to alert on ANY porn.

But it won't work if the person switches to a different partition w/a different operating system (Linux in this case) than the one that porn monitoring software is installed on. That is essentially like having a secret computer the other person doesn't know about, even though physical box (or laptop) is the same one.
